There are many individuals who have dabbled with the idea of getting professional Boudoir photos taken as a special gift for their partner. The biggest discouragement is often a perceived discomfort of getting intimate photos taken by a stranger. Professional photographers strive to create a comfortable and empowering experience for their clients but at the end of the day sometimes it is a deal breaker for some. Now you have the chance to share the experience privately with your partner and the get beautiful photos you have always wanted.
Couples Boudoir Experience in a Nutshell
- You and your partner will come in for a two hour educational seminar learning about photography.
- You learn how to use manual camera settings to give you creative control.
- You learn about posing and flattering types of lighting.
- You and your partner have a one hour private photo shoot session in a studio setting, where you can photograph one partner or each other.
- Enjoy beautiful photos of yourself or partner when you're as old as Rose in Titanic.
This option allows you to share the experience of creating images together with your partner in a comfortable and private space with full creative control. You will have the added benefit of using professional camera and lighting equipment for ultimate image quality. An additional take away is learning basic photographic and posing principles that you can apply to your personal photos down the road.
You can use a camera provided to you or you may bring your own DSLR camera. Forget landscapes, what better way to break in your new Christmas gift than an incredible photo experience with your partner. Choose from one of two studio locations in either Hamilton, or St. Catharines. In home sessions are also available.

FAQ
Will the images be kept by the photographer?
No. You will take home the images on a memory card. The photographer will not save, or store your images. You will be given guidance on storage options for the photos and the best way to archive your photos. You will be responsible for the images once you leave the studio. If requested, as a safety measure the memory cards from your shoot can be kept unformatted for 24 hours to ensure you have made appropriate backups.
Can I have my photos retouched?
Yes. If you would like particular photos professionally retouched you may send them to the photographer. Standard retouching fees will apply. Retouching is not necessary but in some cases the original lighting can be improved as well as being able to remove temporary things such as blemishes. This creates a more "finished" image.
Can I order photo prints or products from my session?
Yes. If there are particular images you like you can send them to the studio to order specialty products such as prints or private albums. During a typical boudoir shoot the packages include print products so that you may enjoy a beautiful physical product from your session. These will be available to you for ordering.
What if I get stuck during the shooting portion and the light isn't working like I want it?
The photographer will be on hand and available outside the studio to come in and provide guidance or assist if you run into any issues.
